Cyber Essentials

Cyber Essentials is a UK Government backed scheme to help organisations of all sizes protect themselves against common cyber-attacks.  Cyber Essentials requires organisations to have several technical and procedural controls in place to improve their Information Security and Cyber Security.

Cyber Essentials allows organisations to demonstrate that they have consistent and effective level of cyber security measures implemented, which provides a level of assurance and reassurance to clients and investors that they are safe to do business with.

Cyber Essentials certification is often mandated within certain sectors as well as being a go-to standard for managing the security risks of supply chains.

KIT365 offer either self-assessed or guided Cyber Essential services.

Cyber Essentials Plus

Cyber Essentials Plus is the audited version of the Cyber Essentials information security standard. Cyber Essentials requires organisations to have several technical and procedural controls in place to improve their information security in order to mitigate common internet-borne cyber-attacks.

Cyber Essentials Plus is a series of tests that provide a further level of assurance that these technical controls have been successfully implemented and are working effectively within an organisation.

Organisations are required to have successfully obtained the Cyber Essentials standard first, before being eligible to apply for Cyber Essentials Plus.

KIT365 offer either on-site Cyber Essential Plus audits or remote Cyber Essential Plus audits.

IASME Governance

IASME Governance certification is a UK Government backed Information Security standard that offers an alternative to ISO27001.  

The IASME Governance standard allows organisations of all sizes, to demonstrate their level of Information Security and Cyber Security but is more affordable and achievable for small and medium-sized organisations to implement.

IASME Governance is aligned to the UK Government’s Ten Steps to Cyber Security and the assessment includes Cyber Essentials and covers the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements.

KIT365 offer either self-assessed or guided IASME Governance services.

IASME Gold

IASME Gold is the audited version of IASME Governance.  This requires an on-site audit to review an organisations policies and procedures with regard to Information Security and in relation to the IASME Governance standard.

IASME Gold offers a high level of assurance than the self-assessed IASME Governance standard and is an alternative to the internationally recognised ISO27001 standard.

Organisations are required to have successfully obtained the IASME Governance information security standard first, before being eligible to apply for IASME Gold.
